HowTo - Roll-your-own VNC2Me ...
The Beta release doesn't provide an easy downloadable setup for creating custom "roll-your-own" versions of VNC2Me ...
That being said, it is fairly easy to "Checkout the SVN", and get all the files needed to Roll-your-own.
First, you will need an SVN client (such as tortoise SVN) installed, then create a new directory as your "root" of the SVN.
With Tortoise SVN, simply right mouse click on this new folder and choose "SVN Checkout..."
the address to use for the SVN root is: "https://vnc2me.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vnc2me"
once you have all files from the SVN on your computer:
- Browse into "v2m_autoit/compiled" directory.
- Edit the INI for your language and server settings.
- Run VNC2Me.exe.
- Browse back to "v2m_autoit" directory.
- Run the "build_with_7zip.cmd" script to create a new "VNC2Me_SC_7zip.exe"
- Test the package to make sure it does what you want ...
- Email or upload your VNC2Me package to start supporting clients.
