Hi there,
I have a customer with a VERY strong firewall and try to implement a universal remote service tool which also works for this customer. My first try was to use UltraVNC SC on its default remote port 5500. This was blocked by the customer's firewall (and the IT staff is - of course - not willing to change any firewall settings).
My next try today was using UltraVNC SC again, this time using remote port 443. No chance...
Unfortunately I'm not able to use port 80 (which was my next thought), because I have a website running on my server (of course I could change the port of my website from 80 to 8080 or whatever, but this is not smart enough

).
So my question is: If the customer's firewall blocks my attempt to use UltraVNC SC on port 443, do I have any chance with VNC2ME? Before I start to implement a ssh server on my machine, I would be glad to see some light at the end of this dark, dark tunnel...
Best regards from Berlin/Germany
